It’s time for one of my favorite posts of the year! The behind-the-scenes post! This is where I put aside my pride for one day and allow you all to find amusement in some very unflattering photos of myself! There’s a reason I’m behind the camera on wedding days. These long wedding days can turn me into a hot mess!

Going through all these photos just reminds me of how amazing 2016 was! What an awesome assortment of weddings, couples and adventures! I’m so blessed that my sweet clients bring me along to be a part of their wedding days! I definitely have pinch-myself moments that this what I get to do for a living! So enjoy a little glimpse into what wedding days really look like! Please don’t set me on fire. Please don’t set me on fire. Please don’t set me on fire. See what I mean about unflattering?? What in the world?! My services also include professional iPhoneography.  I can definitely say that being on the beach barefoot on a wedding day was a first for me! Please don’t elbow me. Please don’t elbow me. Please don’t elbow me.  The not-so-glamorous glimpse behind bridal detail photos. Always such a mess!   These photos always include a good collection of shots of me looking like a bossy air traffic controller.  On numerous occasions I have accidentally matched the wedding party. I swear it’s not on purpose!  Don’t mind me. Just knocking things down. These photos also make me realize why my legs are so sore the next day. Squatting… Tippy toes… Gotta do what you gotta do! This year has also included every type of wedding day weather condition possible! Hot and sticky summer weddings, a freezing December mountain wedding AND a wedding in the middle of a freaking hurricane! Hence the face on the left. Luckily this wedding party was super awesome and were willing to stand in sideways rain for photos!   Note to grooms who plan to wear a self-tie bow tie on their wedding. Be sure to figure out how to tie it before the wedding day. Or hire a photographer who knows how to tie one! Branden would have been so proud of my handy work! The cat’s out of the bag. Getting ready photos are posed. Sorry folks!  This has been known to happen on windy days!  There it goes again! This can be such torture when I’m starving and cupcake fumes are filling my nose! Hottest wedding of the year midday first look. So. much. sweat.
