Another amazing year has already come and gone! In addition to looking forward to the new year, I’m also reflecting over this past year. Going through all my favorite images of 2017 was such a treat as I reminisce on all the amazing opportunities and experiences I had. All the places I got to explore, settings I got to photograph and most of all, the people I got to meet! 

Engagement sessions are such an important part of the wedding photography experience. It’s very important to me that I have a relationship with my couples that goes beyond photographer and client. I want to get to know them, what makes them special and unique and allow them to get comfortable with me so that I can capture their authentic selves in front of the camera. The engagement session is crucial for this. This is usually the only time I get to spend with my couples before their wedding day. This is where we get to know each other and where they get warmed up to the camera before the wedding day. 

I love when couples show up so giddy and excited for their engagement sessions. I think the engagement session makes the whole wedding process feel so real for them! And the whole experience just makes them even more excited to do it all over again on the wedding day! I had so much fun during all my 2017 engagement sessions and here are a few of my favorites!
