I was so blessed to have another full season of beautiful weddings, but more importantly, beautiful people. When I look through my favorite wedding images of 2017, I can’t help but smile. But not just at the pretty details or the nice lighting, but also as the faces and the moment. The joy that these couples and their loved ones exuded on their wedding day. I don’t know how I got so lucky to have the most amazing clients each year! 

This job is always keeping me on my toes. Each wedding day is different and unique and challenges me in different ways. This past year I particularly got to stretch my reach and explore new venues all of Virginia! Having a reason to drive up into the mountains on the weekend is always a treat! This job has also made me fall in love my home state even more. Virginia offers so many stunning natural scenes and so much variety! From the beach to the mountains to the city! 

Going through my favorite images of the year and seeing them in one single post also allows me to reflect on my growth as a photographer. Each year my images are growing more consistent and I see my photograph style becoming more and more prominent. So here are a few (well, a little more than a few) of my favorite wedding images of 2017!
