One of my favorite things that I’ve done with my business is create a community amongst all my brides! They see each other’s faces on the blog, get to read about each other’s stories and get to know each other in our Facebook group! But each year I like to do something that takes that community one step further and host a holiday party at my house so they can actually meet each other in person!
All of these couples had never met each other (and there were some newly engaged couples that I hadn’t even met yet!), but they all instantly recognized each other from seeing each other photos! We even had two brides that had never met, but were basically the same person- had the same venue, planner and florist, are both lawyers AND both live in the same town! So crazy! We all got to hang out and get to know each other face-to-face while enjoying yummy snacks, mimosas and games!
I find great joy in doing all I can to pour into my couples during their experience with me as their photographer. But having events like this is a way that I can continue to pour into them and be a part of their lives beyond their wedding day! I’m so lucky to have these amazing people in my life! Can’t wait to do it all again next year!
Anxiously waiting for their new friends to arrive!
This party is also an excuse for me to make all my favorite foods!!
If you have the winter edition of Magnolia Journal, you need to make the orange scone recipe inside! So good!
Commence the games!
This reindeer stockings game is always hilarious and one of my favorites.
So serious!
Winner winner!
And of course Branden had to do at least one magic trick!
Love these people!
This is absolutely adorable! Love how you go above and beyond for your clients. And how did you get your little fur babies to stand perfectly at the door like that?! Too cute.
