I’ve officially survived my busiest weekend of the year! 2 weddings, 24 hours on my feet shooting, 9 hours of driving and not nearly enough sleep in just 2 days! Plus, an out of town engagement session mixed in there too! Let’s just say that everything is sore! But my heart is so full!! Now it’s time to hunker down, spend the majority of this week on my computer and get ready for two more weddings this weekend! Phew! 

Nothing makes you more excited to see the sun than a week of rain! Ugh! May showers will bring June flowers, I guess? My busiest stretch of the year continues as I now go into a stretch of 4 weddings in 8 days! Yikes!! Wish me luck!! 

Happy Monday! How are we already halfway into May?? I know everyone says this every year, but this year is flying by wayyyyy fast! I feel like my 2017 season just wrapped and now I’m in the busiest part of my 2018 season! So crazy! My feet are still hurting from a fun DC wedding this weekend, but they’re ready to get back to work for another busy week this week! 

Spring has finally sprung!! Knock on wood! The feeling of the warmth on my sun is much appreciated! And this weekend was my first warm wedding of the year! If only my ‘warm’ weddings stayed in the upper 70s! I know I’ll be shooting those 100 degree weddings in no time! 

Another weekend another wedding! This weekend’s wedding kicks off my busy spring wedding lineup! From DC to Charlottesville to Va Beach and back again! I’ll be traveling all over Virginia this year to shoot weddings at so many different venues! And this weekend’s venue was a new one to me and it was so cute and different!
