Spring has sprung! And with that comes busy season! Sessions and weddings galore are on the horizon! You know that period in your calendar where just looking at it makes you feel exhausted? That’s definitely the next few months for me! Let’s do this!! 

Happy Monday, friends! Hope you had a great weekend and your week is off to a great start! I know my weekend was pretty amazing as I finally got to shoot a wedding at a venue that was at the top of my wishlist, Pippin Hill! We were so lucky to have great weather with the perfect thin layer of clouds all day long! Can’t wait to blog it later this week! 

First wedding of the year is a wrap! It was the perfect sweet and easy going wedding to kick off the year! And my first wedding weekend of the year was also a very busy one! Out of town engagement session on Friday, wedding on Saturday then photographing a calligraphy workshop for a friend on Sunday morning! My poor body isn’t used to this much activity after the off season. Let’s just say I’m nursing a pretty steady headache right now! 

We’re baaaccckkk!!! For the past few years, we’ve always done a winter mind-off-season vacation and now I’m thinking that we need to do this every year! A little escape from the cold during my slow season is such a breath of fresh air! And this year’s trip to Orlando was just what we needed! Before I do a full post on our trip, I wanted to check in with a little weekend update! 

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve done a Weekend Update, but I’m back! I always think the the off season is going to be full of so much more free time and I’ll be able to be more on top of things- but I’m always wrong! Between traveling, getting ready for the workshop next month and prepping for the upcoming wedding season- it definitely hasn’t been an ‘off’ season! 

HAPPY NEW YEAR, FRIENDS!! Isn’t there just something so refreshing about the start of a new year? That feeling of a clean slate and a chance to start new goals fresh! I hope you all rung in the new year with those you love getting 2018 to a great start! Since Branden has to work today, we enjoyed a fun evening at home with friends! And lots of corgis!
