Virginia has so many beautiful and unique locations that make for awesome photo shoot locations. Beaches, rivers, fields, historic buildings and more. For Rachael and Eric’s engagement session, we utilized two of Richmond’s most scenic spots- Maymont Park and Belle Isle! 

Rachael and Eric refer to themselves at high school ‘acquaintances’ since they met in high school, but didn’t start dating until college when they both attended Virginia Tech. But there is still something so special about spending the rest of your life with someone that you knew in your adolescent years. Now they are living out their happily ever after in Richmond and getting married next summer at the gorgeous King Family Vineyard in Crozet! 

I feel like I’m jinxing it for everyone by saying this, but we have really had some lovely fall weather here in VA lately! I just can’t get enough of it! We had a gorgeous sunny and warm fall afternoon for Rachael and Eric’s engagement session! These guys were such troopers for dodging all the tourists for their Richmond engagement engagement session this past weekend. Can’t wait to photograph their big day next July!
