Darcie and Darron remind me so much of my husband and I. Started dating their junior year of high school then got married right after graduating college. Young, in love and full of all the excitement in the world to be starting their new journey together as husband and wife! I remember the feeling of finally getting to becoming husband and wife after dreaming of it since our high schools days of dating. And I could clearly see that same excitement in Darcie and Darron as they got married this weekend!
I know I sound like a broken record when I describe my couples as the sweetest, but there’s just no other way to say it! Darcie and Darron are as sweet as it gets! Darron had his back pockets stuffed with tissues that he knew he would need for the ceremony when he saw his bride walk down the aisle. And when that moment came, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone flash a bigger smile! Plus, a few tears, of course. And I can’t blame him, Darcie was a STUNNING bride! So elegant and timeless!
Darcie and Darron were married in a classic Downtown Richmond affair. A traditional church ceremony, a trolley ride to the Capitol for portraits and a big party in the elegant John Marshall Hotel ballroom. Not to mention, their colors (neutrals and taupe) was basically my brand colors so you know I was loving that! I had such a great time capturing their sweet wedding alongside an amazing vendor team!
Darcie somehow managed to keep her dress a total secret from all her bridesmaids! It was the sweetest moment when they finally got to see it!
The dress was a secret from dad too!
What a stunning bride!!
LOVE the color of these bridesmaids dresses!
