This weekend was a weekend I had looked forward to for a long time because it was my first wedding of 2017!! I love the first wedding of the season because I am always full of motivation and excitement to get back into photographing wedding days! Usually my first few weddings of the year start out in the cooler temperatures, like 60s maybe low 70s. But not this year! This year we skipped those cool temps and went straight tot he 90 degree wedding day! Thankfully I have amazing couples to work with that deal with the heat like pros- just like Kristen and Stephen did this weekend! 

I have also been looking forward to this weekend for another reason. As of yesterday, Branden has a week off from work! Branden gets 3 weeks off from work a year, a this is one of them! I am so excited to have this guy all to myself for a whole week!! And this Wednesday we will be heading to NYC for a little getaway in the Big Apple!! I cannot wait to get back to that magical city and to get to stay with our dear friends, Emily and Michael, during our stay! 

Kristen and Stephen’s wedding this weekend was the perfect way to kick off my wedding season! A super kind and godly couple, gorgeous venue, portraits GALORE and so much more!
