Karen and Daniel were married in a sweet and intimate wedding at a historic estate nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains! Karen’s love for soft pastels was evident in the dusty blue tones throughout their wedding design. The whole day was just easy going, smooth and lovely!
What better place for a love story to begin than the city of love! Karen and Daniel met while studying abroad in Paris. They were attending different universities and their shared love and interest in France (both were studying French!) made for a fateful crossing of paths in Paris! They relationship was platonic during their time together in France, but upon returning home, they quickly realized that they both wanted something more! So Daniel made the hike from Illinois to Virginia where he presented Karen with flowers to seal the deal! And the rest was history!
After years of dating, they returned to Paris for a visit and Daniel proposed in front of the lit Eiffel tower at night! How romantic! They had a few subtle Parisian details mixed into their wedding as it played such a big role in their story! I foresee many more trips to Paris for these two!
Such an elegant and timeless bride!
Loved this sweet moment they shared right after the ceremony on the front porch!
