I usually have blog posts finished and scheduled at least the day before it’s supposed to be published, but somewhere along the 4 hour drive last night, I decided it would be ok to wait until morning for today’s blog post! My feet and head may be hurting after a long weekend, but it was all worth it! A family BBQ on Saturday and a beautiful mountain wedding on Sunday! A perfect way to spend the weekend!
As always, thoughts and happenings from the week!
- I am almost at the end of the longest stretch of consecutive wedding weekends I’ve ever done! 7 weddings in 5 weeks is no joke! After next weekend, I have one weekend off, then back at it again! But I wouldn’t change a thing about it! I so lucky to business is going well enough to allow me to make a living doing something I love!
- I’m extra thankful this year for a mama that loves the mountains because she has driven with me to some of my out of town weddings this year! When I have weddings in the mountains, like this weekend, she’ll sometimes drive with me, drop me off, go hike while I shoot, then come pick me up! It’s so nice to have company on the long drives and to get to spend a little extra time with my mom! This weekend we got to stay in the cutest little bed and breakfast before Sunday’s wedding!
- I was just about to put away all my shorts and summer clothes thinking fall weather was here to stay, then the high 80s came back for a visit! You’d think that living in Virginia all my life, I would be so disappointed! Oh well!
And a few sneak peeks from Kathleen and Alan’s Barn at Edgewood wedding yesterday! Kathleen is super detail oriented and so freaking talented, I can’t wait to show you their amazing wedding!!
