I think I may have jinxed how amazing the weather had been these last few weeks and stuck us all with a week-long drizzle that just wouldn’t quit! I’m all for a cozy rainy day here and there- but not a whole week of it! Thank goodness I have the most amazing couples that don’t allow one ounce of their joy to be stolen by rain on their wedding day! 

Thoughts and happenings from the week! 

• I am almost officially on vacation!! This Saturday, Branden and I are driving to one of my favorite southern cities- Charleston!! Give me allll the gorgeous charming streets, plantations and all things southern!! If anyone has any suggestions on what to do while we’re there, please let me know!! 
• And our vacation isn’t ending there, because we are also heading up to JMU for Homecoming!! I’m ashamed to admit that this will be our first time back since we graduated almost 6 years ago! Oops!! I am SO SO excited to spend a weekend in a place that gives me all the feels! Any of my fellow Dukes going to be there too??
• You may have seen me posting on instagram about how I’ve been playing with film lately!! Don’t worry, I’m not jumping the digital ship! I’m just having fun playing with a new medium and challenging myself! It’s been a slow learning process since you can’t just look at the back of the screen after you take a shot! If anything, this process it teaching me a lot about patience! I also got to get two of my best friends in front of my new film camera last night and can’t wait to get the scans back!
