After 2 weekends off, it’s back to work! It’s funny how just having 2 wedding-free weekends made it feel like an eternity when I was back to shooting a wedding this weekend. I guess you just get used to shooting weddings every weekend after a while! My busy season is drawing to an end soon, but it’s definitely going out with a busy bang! 

Thoughts and happenings from the week! 

• You may have noticed that my blog was a little quiet last week thanks to some technical glitches that kept me from being able to post anything. The worst! That also kept me from being able to share a little recap of our Charleston trip with you all! So that will have to wait for another post once the film scans come back from the trip. Unless, of course, the photos didn’t turn out well, in which case I’ll just tuck them away where no one can see them. haha!
• An unfortunate several hour power outage this weekend in our neighborhood has made me realize how completely dependent on power we are! With Branden on night shifts, I rely pretty heavily on TV and work to get my through the lonely nights- both of which rely on electricity! I was about to go crazy after my laptop died last night as I sat in my empty pitch black house. Luckily it came back on just in time for me to watch The Office as I fall asleep- just like I do every night! 
• Today is Branden and I’s 11th dating anniversary! 11.6.06 <3 I’ll never forget that evening 11 years ago today as we were watching a movie at his dad’s house and he turned to me and said ‘So are you my girlfriend, now?’ Oh, be still my teenage heart! I think this date will forever be etched in my brain as it was also etched in all my notebooks at the time and proudly displayed on my Myspace page, like one does! ;)
