Getting back into my normal rhythm this weekend with just ONE wedding! It’s funny how shooting a single wedding in a weekend feels like a break after the few weeks I’ve had!! This weekend’s Charlottesville wedding was a dream! One of my favorite venues, a STUNNING couple, beautiful details and more! Keep scrolling for some sneak peeks! 

Thoughts and happenings! 

• Many people think that a wedding photographer would be at their busiest as summer approaches, but it’s usually the opposite for people in this area! July and August are very HOT, so the number of weddings during those months actually goes down! So I’m heading into my mid-year slow down! Lot’s on my to do list to get done before things get crazy again in September!
• I get to have a little mini vacation this week! Every year since I was born, my mom’s side of the family gets a house in the OBX during the same week every year which is this week! So I’m hunkering down to get my week’s work done so I can head down on Wednesday for a few days! I am SO excited to sit at the beach and do absolutely nothing! Glorious! 
• We booked a photoshoot for the two of us (and the pups) to get on the other side of my friend, Kirstyn’s, camera next week! I can definitely sympathize with the struggle that my couples go through when picking out outfits! The struggle is real!
