Holiday weekends are always busy for wedding photographers because there are usually a lot of weddings happening on these weekends! I had my first ever Thursday wedding followed by a Saturday one! But then had Sunday and Monday off, which made the weekend the perfect mix of work and pleasure! 

Thoughts and happenings from the week! 

• I spend a lot of time on the road for weddings (and sometimes engagement sessions) and my favorite way to get through the drives is audio books! Particularly Harry Potter! It feels like I’m watching a movie while I’m driving and makes it much less painful!
• Baby Deyerle is still chugging along growing like a weed! The only update to report is that his movements are getting a lot stronger! I was even able to catch a few kicks on video the other day! The nursery is also coming together as I finally got the nursing chair I had my eye on that had been out of stock! I got an email late at night that it had come back in stock, so I ordered it right then and it was out of stock again by the morning! It’s supposed to come in this week, so I’ll be sure to let you guys know how it is on instagram stories! 
• I got a lot of advice last week about how to get through weddings days while pregnant. The top suggestions where drinking lots of water, taking breaks to elevate your feet and lots of snacks! I tried implementing them at my last wedding and am hopeful I’ll survive the year’s remaining weddings! Thanks for the advice!
