Why Invest in a Wedding Album

The digital world we live in nowadays is both a blessing and a curse, I believe. Having access to our photos right at our fingertips is certainly a great convenience. And being able to deliver wedding photos to my clients within a few days of the wedding is priceless! But one downside to this convenience is that sometimes the digital photos never turn into something tangible! The way we share and use our photos these days is all done online, so often times people will never print their photos. While it’s great to have that instant satisfaction of sharing our photos with the world with just the click of a button, that medium will not stand the test of time.

People won’t be looking at your profile picture for years to come. When your grandkids want to see pictures of you in your youth, they won’t pull out an old dusty hard drive to view them on an old outdated computer. Technology comes and goes, along with all them items stored on that technology. Your photos, especially your wedding photos, are meant to stand the test of time and be enjoyed for generations to come. They deserve to be preserved in a medium that is easily accessible and does your photos justice. Your wedding photography is a big decision and investment, so you deserve to get the most out of that investment.

Now I know that a quality wedding album, like what most wedding photographers offer, is quite an investment. So I can certainly understand why couples would hesitate to invest in an album. But do keep in mind that these albums are such an investment simply because they are worth that much in their quality as opposed to us photographers ridiculously marking them up to make a pretty profit. Most quality wedding album companies, like the company that I use, will use the finest materials and tools to construct these albums. These albums are designed and constructed to stand the test of time. They are meant to passed down for generations to come so that your children and your children’s children can relive your wedding day!

So even if it seems like investing in a album is not something you’re in a place to do, consider adjusting your budget or saving up so that you can come back later and invest in an album. Even if your wedding day has come and gone, it is always something that you could save up for and invest in later on. Your wedding day is one of the most joyous and important days of your life and it deserves to be remembered and celebrated for year and years to come!

And to give you a little taste of what these albums look like, here are few shots from a recent sample album of mine! wedding-album-virginia-wedding-photographer-photo_1266.jpg wedding-album-virginia-wedding-photographer-photo_1267.jpg wedding-album-virginia-wedding-photographer-photo_1268.jpg wedding-album-virginia-wedding-photographer-photo_1269.jpg wedding-album-virginia-wedding-photographer-photo_1270.jpg wedding-album-virginia-wedding-photographer-photo_1271.jpg wedding-album-virginia-wedding-photographer-photo_1272.jpg wedding-album-virginia-wedding-photographer-photo_1273.jpg wedding-album-virginia-wedding-photographer-photo_1274.jpg wedding-album-virginia-wedding-photographer-photo_1275.jpg
