One of the things I love most about my business is not only the new people that it has brought into my life, but also the old friends that it brought back into my life. Some of my current best friendships are because of rekindled relationships through my business. And in this case, it not only reconnected me with an old friend from elementary school, Mandi, but also with my 7th grade teacher, Mandi’s mom! 

Mandi and I were classmates for many many years at good old OLMC. And Mandi’s mom was the middle school english teacher! So I have a lot of fond memories with both of them from my childhood! I was so excited when I got the excited message from Mandi after her engagement asking me to shoot her wedding. There’s nothing quite like not only watching a childhood friend marry the man of her dreams, but to also be the one to capture it! 

Mandi couldn’t have found herself a kinder man to spend her life with. When my I introduced my second shooter to Brett when she arrived, she told me that he was probably the nicest groom she’s ever met! And I agree! It’s so easy to see how Brett will take the best care of Mandi throughout their lives together. It brought me so much joy to be a part of their becoming man and wife! So happy for these two! 




Mandi wore this gorgeous heirloom ring that was her grandmother’s! A perfect something old, borrowed and blue!















I’m so glad these two decided to do a first look! Right after these pictures, the rain picked back up and didn’t quit! First look for the win!




When Mandi saw the rainy forecast for their wedding day, she said she would be happy so long as they just got one picture outside. Well, we got that and then some!
