You may have recognized another sweet couple from my promo film that I launched last week- Grier and Miles! These two are such a special couple to me not only because Grier and I go wayyy back to our high school drama days, but also because they were one of my first bride and groom clients! And I even got to capture their proposal! So when we were planning the engagement session part of the promo film, these two were the first people I asked! I was so excited at who thrilled there were to be a part of this project! And it worked out so perfectly that we did these photos right around the time of their first wedding anniversary! How sweet!

When picking a location, the first thing that came to mind was Yorktown beach. Even though it’s a totally “overused” location by local photographers, I still love it! From the white fences to the charming old buildings and rolling battlefields, there’s just nothing like it! PLUS, it’s an extra special place for Grier and Miles! Miles proposed on the boardwalk at sunset, we did their engagement session in the historical area AND they even used to live here together! So there was no doubt that this was the perfect spot! I loved going to some of the very same spots that we used for their engagement session almost 2 years ago! These guys hammed it up real good not only for my camera, but also the two other cameras circling around us as we shot this portion of the promo film!
