Are you tired of hearing me talk about how perfect my sweet couples and their awesome weddings are? Oh well! You’re going to hear it again! It goes without saying that Kelsey and Kyle have had their fair share of complications and obstacles while planning their 2020 wedding. But with a little bit of luck and whole lot of support from their vendors, family and friends, they were able to still have the wedding of their dreams! And even on their original wedding date!
Burlington is one of my favorite venues to shoot at! The grounds and structures are so elegant and polished. Not a blade of grass or fern out of place. It was the perfect setting for Kelsey and Kyle’s elegant affair! The various patios and gardens on the grounds also provided a great layout for social distancing for the guests!
Kelsey and Kyle met while attending Virginia Tech. Kelsey’s sister referenced a fateful moment back when they were touring the campus and Kelsey went to the Engineering building and said ‘might as well just sit here and wait for my future husband!’ And as fate would have it, she ended up snagging herself an engineer! They started out as friends until after a few years, Kyle swept Kelsey off her feet with a long overdue kiss and the rest was history!
It was such a treat to get to capture such a special day for these two alongside an amazing lineup of vendors!! I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites, so get comfy for this one!
Time for her girls to see her in her dress!
I think they approve!
Time for Kyle to see his bride!
Little did they know, their friends and family had a surprise for them…They brought their dog, Ollie, for a visit!!
What a sweet surprise!!
If I could go back and redo my weddings, I would pick this color for my bridesmaids! Love me a good neutral taupe!
We had some fun with petals from the ceremony aisle!
The various patios and gardens made it so easy for guests to spread out during cocktail hour.
We had the most amazing golden hour for portraits!!
What was supposed to be 10 minutes of sunset photos turned into 20+ minutes! This light was just too good to stop! So glad Kelsey and Kyle were up for it because they are going to get a gallery full of golden hour goodness!
Kelsey, you are a vision!!
