Well, I guess Fall only stopped in for a short visit as it seems winter is already on the doorstep! Between the weather and all the Christmas things already everywhere you look, it definitely feels like winter! We had a chilly and windy day for this weekend’s wedding, but I’ll take chilly over wet for a wedding any day! And as the year quickly winds to a close, so does our little one’s arrival date!! Eekk!!
What a weekend! 1 wedding, 2 engagement sessions and 11 hours on the road in just 48hours! My heart is full, while my body is tired. The aches and pains that come with the later stages of pregnancy have officially arrived! I can’t remember what it’s like to get into the car or put on a pair of shoes with letting out a little squeal of pain! But I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world! Our little babe is worth every ache!
Another weekend, another wedding! That’s how the fall usually goes! This weekend’s wedding was such a treat! A gorgeous venue and couple, perfect weather and just an overall seamless day! Plus, you could start to see little specs of fall showing up on the trees up in the mountains!! Eekk!!
Happy Fall, y’all!!! Congrats to all the couples who got married this weekend not only for getting married, but also for being a few of the lucky ones that got amazing weather!! I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve had gorgeous wedding day weather! But this weekend was perfect!
With the first day of fall this weekend, we can officially say that fall wedding season has begun! Give my all the crisp weather, fall foliage and maybe not the hurricanes! Pretty please?! My fall season kicked off at the gorgeous Pippin Hill in Charlottesville! Definitely one of my favorite venues and a great place to kick off the season!
Holiday weekends are always busy for wedding photographers because there are usually a lot of weddings happening on these weekends! I had my first ever Thursday wedding followed by a Saturday one! But then had Sunday and Monday off, which made the weekend the perfect mix of work and pleasure!
