My first double header wedding weekend of the year is a wrap! Well, not technically a wrap because now starts the real work- the editing!! This weekend was full of joy, excitement and peonies galore! My heart is full and feet are tired! Here’s a quick recap of this past week!
Happy Monday, friends!! This is one of my favorite times of year where summer really kicks off! High school proms and graduations, beach and pool lounging days, summer concerts and more! Not to mention summer weddings galore!! I can’t wait to show you guys Leigh Ann and Josh’s glam blush wedding from this weekend! Keep scrolling for a few sneak peeks! And here’s a few thoughts and happenings from the weekend!
Happy Monday! Hope you all enjoyed the much needed dry and sunny days we had this weekend! I’m definitely sick of all this rain! And the rain dried up just in time for Kelsey and Sam’s wedding day in Woodbridge this past Friday! I seriously cannot wait for Wednesday to show you guys the images from their wedding!!
This weekend kicked a very busy stretch of weddings for me- 6 weddings in 4 weeks! Bring on the fluffy blooms, achey feet and all the yummy cake I can handle! And I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding this weekend to start things off! It’s no secret that I love all things classic and southern. Kylee and Sam’s wedding was just that! Held at a stunning plantation with southern details throughout, I was in heaven! I can’t wait to share their wedding on the blog on Wednesday, but for now, here are some sneak peeks!
This weekend was a weekend I had looked forward to for a long time because it was my first wedding of 2017!! I love the first wedding of the season because I am always full of motivation and excitement to get back into photographing wedding days! Usually my first few weddings of the year start out in the cooler temperatures, like 60s maybe low 70s. But not this year! This year we skipped those cool temps and went straight tot he 90 degree wedding day! Thankfully I have amazing couples to work with that deal with the heat like pros- just like Kristen and Stephen did this weekend!
It’s been a while since we’ve had a good snow down here in southern Virginia, so this weekend’s blizzard was warmly welcomed in this household! And it worked out perfect that the snow came on the ONE day that Branden has off during the week, so we were all able to have a fun snow day! And this was Charlotte’s first time seeing snow! She couldn’t get enough of it!
