I had been eyeing this past weekend on the calendar for months. It was my first full weekend off since early August AND Branden only had to work in the mornings. I can probably count on one hand the number of times a year that Branden and I are both off on a weekend and this was one of them! So we filled it with all of our favorite things! Friends, food and Busch Gardens!
Another weekend, another wedding! And this weekend’s wedding was a beaut!! Beautiful weather, beautiful couple and all the beautiful details! Just a perfect day! This weekend’s wedding was actually the last of a back-to-back wedding stretch that started in mid-August! So this coming weekend will be my first weekend off since early August! Looking forward to a little break then back at it again the next weekend!
I usually have blog posts finished and scheduled at least the day before it’s supposed to be published, but somewhere along the 4 hour drive last night, I decided it would be ok to wait until morning for today’s blog post! My feet and head may be hurting after a long weekend, but it was all worth it! A family BBQ on Saturday and a beautiful mountain wedding on Sunday! A perfect way to spend the weekend!
Rain or shine, two amazing couples got married this weekend! Lexy and Max were married at a sweet bed and breakfast on the water in Seaford and Alexis and Max were married at a beautiful country club on the James River in Williamsburg. My feet are tired, but my heart is full from all the love this weekend!
Another summer weekend has come and gone! Fall weather, a new-to-me venue with a super sweet couple and more! How is summer already almost over?? It goes by faster and fast each year!! While I mourning the end of summer, how can I not be exciting for Fall?? The weather, the clothes, all things pumpkin and ALLLLL the weddings and engagement sessions! I just hope my right index finger doesn’t fall off from all the shooting!!
This week has been a pretty exciting week for a few reasons! One, our 5th wedding anniversary was this past Friday! How has it already been 5 years?? We’re practically an old married couple! Two, Rachael and Eric were married in a stunning wedding at King Family Vineyard in Charlottesville on Saturday! I seriously can’t wait to show you guys this wedding! And three, today is my 27th birthday!! I’m officially in my late twenties! Eek!
