Now that Emily’s amazing wedding has come and gone, I can finally share her bridal portraits from this summer! I think I’ve made it pretty clear by now that Emily is one of my favorite people in the world, so I was super excited to see her as a bride for her bridal portraits!

Emily was very secretive about her bridal look leading up to her wedding day. Only a select few people had seen pictures of her wedding dress and even on the day of the wedding, the dress was in hiding until she was completely dressed and did a first look for her bridesmaids! I felt like I was part of an exclusive club having seen her full wedding look before the big day! And it was pretty hard to keep the details and pictures to myself because she was a simply radiant bride!! So classic and timeless! But what really finished off her look was the joy that she radiated. It was so easy to see how excited she was to be marrying the man that makes her life complete!

We met up on a beautiful summer afternoon in Colonial Williamsburg for her bridal portraits. All the tourists couldn’t help but stop and stare as they walked by. She made my job so easy. You seriously can’t take a bad picture of this girl! And the beautiful light that followed us the whole evening didn’t hurt either!
