My sister, Mary, is a member of the Pi Beta Phi Chapter at ODU. She asked me to come out to photograph the Bid Day ceremony this year. It is where new pledges reveal the sorority they have chosen to join. It is quite an event that’s full of chanting and plenty of happy tears. All the sisters were so excited to welcome the new pledges into their sororities.
My little brother, Peter, also joined a fraternity at ODU. He was there to watch the ceremony with his new brothers.
