What a perfect way to cap off my 2018 season! A warm December afternoon, perfect amount of clouds during portrait time, a sweet couple and wedding party and a 10-minute commute from my house! Can’t beat that! With my being 35 weeks pregnant at this wedding, we did have a plan b in place in case something should happen that kept me from being able to shoot it. But luckily, baby was still cooking nicely and I was able to shoot Katie and Clark’s wedding no problem!

2018 weddings are officially a wrap!!! What?! Not only am I done with shooting for the year, I’m also done with all my shooting pre-baby! Now that’s surreal!! When I first found out I was pregnant, I knew I needed a plan b for this weekend’s wedding as I would be 35 weeks and you never know what can happen. But luckily baby is still cooking nicely inside and I’m feeling great, so I was able to shoot Katie and Clark’s wedding no problem!!

Another weekend, another wedding! And this weekend’s wedding was a beaut!! Beautiful weather, beautiful couple and all the beautiful details! Just a perfect day! This weekend’s wedding was actually the last of a back-to-back wedding stretch that started in mid-August! So this coming weekend will be my first weekend off since early August! Looking forward to a little break then back at it again the next weekend!

In a world where there seem to be awful people and events happening left and right, knowing that there are people like Josh and Hannah and their families makes you believe in the good in the world again. They both have hearts of gold and families that nurtured them to be that way. They also have such excellent examples of marriage to look up to in their parents and a set of grandparents that won the anniversary dance by a landslide! Just wait until you hear how long they’ve been married!

My first double header wedding weekend of the year is a wrap! Well, not technically a wrap because now starts the real work- the editing!! This weekend was full of joy, excitement and peonies galore! My heart is full and feet are tired! Here’s a quick recap of this past week!

Brunch and breakfast food are two of the most wonderful things on this earth. Sinead and Ben love them so much that they planned their entire wedding day around it! Early morning ceremony, mimosas, breakfast tacos, chicken & waffles, donuts- the works!! This was my first brunch wedding and it was kind of amazing. Not to mention, I was done at 3:00!! What?!
