My last engagement session of the year was just as dreamy as I hoped it would be!! The universe was determined to not let this engagement session happen as we rescheduled many times due to weather, illness, work- you name it!! But we finally made it happen last week!

We started planning and chatting about Sammi and Sam’s engagement session months ago. They were hoping to get the fall vibe with golden leaves, plus a beach location. They were also about to get an adorable puppy, River, so we wanted to include him in the session while he was still an adorable floppy puppy!! But after many attempts to set a date only to have to reschedule due to various reasons, our original October date got pushed to December! But I would say that that was actually for the best as the leaves here in southeast Virginia change much later in the season, so they ground was covered in golden crunchy leaves last week! And we lucked out with a ‘relatively’ warm December afternoon, so we didn’t completely freeze on the beach!

You may recognize the two locations we shot at for Sammi and Sam’s engagement session as my couples keep requesting these Virginia Beach spots after seeing other sessions I’ve done there! But hey, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!! These spots never let me down and they certainly didn’t this time either!

Sammi, Sam and their sweet pup, River, were so fun to hang out with last week! And they make for a pretty good-looking family!! Can’t wait for their Pippin Hill wedding next summer!
