The Woman’s Club of Portsmouth is such a precious hidden gem of a location in Portsmouth! Well, not so hidden anymore and they book up so far in advance nowadays! A ballroom that is lined with windows galore is a photographers dream! And when you have some of Hampton Roads best wedding vendors coming together for the setup, you know it’s going to be amazing! Cynthia and Ian’s wedding simply amazing and such a joy to photograph!

Cynthia and Ian’s wedding was a little different in the sense that they have actually already been married for a year. When a family member fell ill, they decided to do a bedside ceremony so that she could see them get married. This is just another example of how important family is to Cynthia and Ian. I think they had almost every single family member of theirs in their wedding party! And it was clear to see how happy their families were to finally be celebrating their marriage! These two are the perfect example of what it looks like to marry your best friend. It’s so easy to see how well they fit together and how they are truly each other’s best friend. It’s been such an honor to get to know them and to be a part of their big day!  These pins were added to Cynthia’s bouquet to represent family members that could not be at the wedding. So sweet!  Cynthia and Ian played a game with their wedding party to see who knew them the best- the bridesmaids or the groomsmen. Needless to say, it got pretty serious!  I LOVE this beaded curtain behind the head table! So gorgeous!
