One thing I love about my job is all the new places it takes me to! When we were planning Lexy and Max’s engagement session, she said they wanted to do it in Cape Charles on the Eastern Shore as that is where they have spent a lot of time together. I honestly can’t even remember the last time I’ve been in that neck of the woods, or if I even have at all!! It was so fun getting to explore this sweet little beach town with them during their session!

Lexy (a former classmate of mine at Tabb High!) and Max met while both attending CNU. They met in some classes they had together their freshman year, but didn’t become more than friends until right before graduation. Max walked her to her car one night after a post-class dinner outing, kissed her and the rest was history!! And now after a romantic proposal in Napa (good job, Max!), they are now getting married!!! I loved getting to catch up with this old friend and her new fiance during their very chilly and very windy engagement session this weekend! They were such troopers and braved the cold like champs! Can’t wait for their September wedding next year!   Max is the head coach for the CNU sailing team, so he tied a cute little heart knot to use for their session. So sweet!
