Megan and Curtis’ engagement session is yet another example of fate in that we rescheduled it due to weather and ended up with a perfect 75 degree and sunny day for their session! Winning!! Perfect day for a stroll in the cutest little small town in Norther Virginia with such a sweet couple!

Megan and Curtis’ love story began from a mutual love for cars, even though that’s almost what kept them apart! Megan arrived at a party with her friend when she spotted her dream car outside, a Jeep Cherokee SRT8. Once inside, she approached Curtis to see if he was the owner. He responded saying “Naw, I drive the red Dodge.” Being a Ford girl, she was immediately repulsed and went on her way. After the party, Curtis persistently pursued her trying to get her to go out on a date. Megan resisted still not being able to come to terms with dating a Dodge man. But Curtis’ sweet gestures and persistence paid off and she was able to look past his car to see the man of her dreams! And she seems to have made her peace with his love for Dodge as the second love of his life, his Dodge truck, made a guest appearance in their engagement session!

We met up for their engagement session in the cutest little Norther Virginia small town, Clifton. It’s the kind of small town that you’d see in a movie! Downtown consists of pretty much one intersection, but each and every building is full of charm, white picket fences and perfectly manicured gardens. And it seems to be a not-so-hidden gem since the whole town seemed to be there that night! Just another reason I love this job- getting to explore new places that I would never stumbled upon otherwise! Can’t wait for these two to tie the knot in a small intimate wedding at The Clifton Inn this summer!   That light though!! Gahh!!!
