When you’ve done so many sessions in certain area, it’s easy to get comfortable and use the same go-to spots over and over. So when Brionna reached out to me about doing their engagement session in Norfolk, I pushed myself outside of my comfort zone and tried a different spot for their session! I don’t why I haven’t explored Downtown Norfolk sooner, especially since it is right down the street from me! We found some great little spots and had a great time! Win win!

Brionna and Yordan are from southern Florida and have known each other since elementary school! They actually said that they didn’t really know each other in elementary school even though they went to the same school. But when Yordan was going through old yearbooks recently, he saw that he had circled Brionna’s picture in his 5th grade year book! So little did they know, he had a crush on her from the very beginning! Once they got to high school, they got to know each other and started dating and the rest is history! Yordan is in the Navy and stationed here in Norfolk, while Brionna still lives in Florida. Brionna came to visit him this weekend before he leaves for deployment in a few weeks. These two are such an inspiration for how they have stayed strong not only throughout deployments, but also the distance! I’m so glad that their happily ever after as married couple is finally in sight! Wishing these two all the best!   Did I mention that Brionna is just a sweet as she is beautiful!? Such a sweetheart!
