I’ve been looking forward to Miles and Grier’s wedding for so long now! Grier and I were friends back in the day in high school! We were cheerleaders and drama nerds together! Last September, Miles contacted me saying that he was planning on proposing to Grier and wanted me to photograph it! Eek! We planned everything down to the minute and it all went off without a hitch. And, of course, she said yes!! Once they started wedding planning they asked me to be their official wedding photographer and I couldn’t have been more excited! It’s so special to get to be a part of an old friend’s wedding in such a special way.

Grier and Miles are such a sweet couple and it was an absolute pleasure to capture their big day! The wedding took place at Miles’ aunt’s waterfront house. This house has been in Miles’ family since the early 1900’s and there is so much history to it! We did their engagement session here too! It provided the perfect setting for their rustic navy and coral wedding. So much love went into putting this wedding together, from the florals being arranged by family members to the pallet bar that Miles made. There was so much thought and detail put into every aspect of their day which made it so special! These two have an amazing group of supportive friends and family that came out to celebrate their special day and partied all through the night!

I am so happy for the newly established Mr. and Mrs. Hogge! It was such an honor to capture your special day and I wish you guys many many years of health and happiness! Hope you’re enjoying your adventurous southern honeymoon! :) :)

The girls had a choreographed line dance planned for the reception so they had a little rehearsal while they were getting ready!

Grier and Miles practiced their perfect just married kiss leading up to the wedding- they totally nailed it!

Grier was finishing up sewing these corn hole bags the morning of the wedding! 






They served Clam Chowder from this brick stove!

Grier’s mom HAND PAINTED all of these mason jar mugs!!! How amazing!!! She even made me a special one!













We had everyone gather back over by the ceremony location for a “group picture”. Grier’s parent’s anniversary was the day after the wedding, so they were actually surprising them with a vow renewal!! They were so surprised! It was so sweet!




And since we had everyone gathered together, we got a group shot from the balcony!









Getting iced AGAIN!


Grier’s sister had such a sweet and heartfelt speech. She couldn’t look at Grier without crying so she had to turn away from her to get through it. So precious.




So right after they cut the cake, Miles sneak attacked Grier with a fist full of cake to the face. But I’d day Grier got him back pretty good!
Grier’s mom surprised the happy couple with a special serenade on the dance floor!


But the surprises weren’t over yet! Then all these ladies came out to sing a song!






What an epic spot for a bouquet toss!




This group really knew how to GET DOWN! They danced all night long!

Then all the gals busted out the line dance they had been rehearsing!

Looks like someone wanted to be one of the big girls!
In true Southern style, they dug up the whisky they had buried!












They had an EPIC fireworks display! So magical!
Then they did a sweet Chinese lantern send off!

The rest of the group had a hard time getting their lanterns to take off, but Miles and Grier’s lantern floated off into the distance- which is all that really matters!

They danced the night away and lived happily ever after! :)
