I know it’s a little cliche to describe someone as being beautiful on the inside and out, but I can’t think of a better way to describe Kelsey and Sam. It’s clear from when you first meet them that they are both pretty stunning on the outside. But what you soon learn after that is that they both have hearts of gold. They have been such a treat to work with and get to know during their engagement. They even both texted/messaged me at 1am after the wedding to make sure I got home safe! Such sweethearts!

Kelsey and Sam were married on an absolutely gorgeous Friday afternoon at the Osprey’s at Belmont Bay in Woodbridge, VA. Given all the rain we’ve been having lately, a sunny day was quite a treat! Their story actually began back when they were in 7th grade when they lived two streets away from each other. But their love story didn’t begin until high school when Sam asked Kelsey to his senior prom. Such a classic and sweet love story! Years later, Sam took Kelsey down memory lane through a scavenger hunt that ended with a proposal! And now here they are starting the next chapter of their story as husband and wife! 

One thing I’ve come to realize about Kelsey and Sam is how deeply they feel for people. For their family, friends, (their pup, Kari!) but most of all for each other. The way they look at and talk about each other will make anyone’s heart melt. Capturing their wedding day was such an honor. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for these two! 










Kelsey’s mom gave her a ring to wear that belonged to her grandmother. So sweet!
