We set the date for Michelle and Matt’s engagement session months ago. When your fiance is in the military and you both live out of town, you don’t have the luxury of being flexible when it comes to scheduling! So when the night before their session the forecast was calling for rain most of the day, we knew rescheduling wasn’t an option. We made the last minute call to switch the session to the morning in hopes that we would miss the rain- which we did! Definitely made the right call! 

It was almost kismet that Maryann and Ronan’s laid back intimate wedding came at the end of a very busy wedding stretch for me! This was the first time I’ve photographed a wedding without a bridal party! The whole day was so laid back and intimate, allowing Maryann and Ronan to focus on the real importance of the day- their marriage! 

I know I’ve been talking about how busy my weekends have been lately, but this was my first wedding-free weekend in what feels like forever! I would still consider it a busy time as I still have sessions and mountains of editing to do, but having a Saturday off like normal people was such a treat! 

Taylor loves flowers. She even has a tattoo of a flower on her arm to commemorate that love. So when they were hunting for venues and they came across the gorgeous courtyard gardens at Lewis Ginter, the search was over. She knew this was the place where she wanted to marry Brandon. In a gorgeous garden literally surrounded by all sorts of flowers! 

The word that comes to mind when I think of Kristianne and JV’s wedding is extra. Every detail was planned to a T. And there was no shortage of details throughout every part of the wedding! From the invitation suite that the bride and groom designed together to the endless amount of cute desserts at the reception. Literally every dessert you could think of. Kristianne said that she and JV are planners, so they really enjoyed planning out all the details of their wedding together! Well, all their efforts definitely showed!
