Another weekend another wedding! This weekend’s wedding kicks off my busy spring wedding lineup! From DC to Charlottesville to Va Beach and back again! I’ll be traveling all over Virginia this year to shoot weddings at so many different venues! And this weekend’s venue was a new one to me and it was so cute and different! Thoughts and happenings from the week!

• As much as I love shooting at all the beautiful venues up in the mountains, I do NOT like the drives to get there. An hour on a windy mountain road after a long wedding day when it is pitch black with no street lights. Yikes! I’d like to say that I’m getting used to these drives, but not really! Totally worth it though! 
• Branden and I got to enjoy a nice lazy Sunday this weekend, which rarely happens! Church in the morning, lunch with friends, a nap, sipping tea on the front porch and Panera for dinner while watching Harry Potter! A perfect Sunday!
• I got to give my Rothys a real wedding day test drive this weekend! And they get an A+ from me! No rubbing, no irritation. I don’t think there’s any one shoe that works well for everyone, but so far these of my favorite pair that I’ve owned. Even better than my Tieks!
