2020 Behind The Scenes
I debated whether or not to do a Behind-the-Scenes post for 2020. But I’ll be damned if 2020 takes anything else from me! Each behind-the-scenes blog post usually has it’s own unique characteristics. Whether it’s a growing pregnant belly or a receding postpartum hairline, there’s usually something that makes each year unique. For 2020, it’s pretty obvious what makes it different from the rest.
A normal wedding season for me consists of 18-23ish weddings. After having James, I decided to set my max to 10 per year. Granted, that usually turns into 12 or 13. In 2020, I shot FOUR weddings. FOUR. How crazy is that?? So this years behind-the-scenes post is going to lack variety just a smidge.
But that doesn’t mean that these 4 weddings were any less special or that they don’t deserve the same amount of attention! I love showing you guys what wedding days really look like behind the camera! There’s a lot of bossy hand motions, unflattering facial expressions and super cute outfits (insert sarcastic tone here).
So here’s a peek into the amazing and sweet weddings I shot in 2020! If anything, the fact that there were only 4 just made each one that much sweeter and more special! Shout out to my second shooters for these images! Ashley, Dani, Ali and Christy!
This wedding was actually in January, so pre-pandemic! Those were the days! The simple joys of not talking to someone through a mask!
