A lot of words come to mind when trying to describe Madison and Alfonso’s Norfolk Botanical Gardens wedding. Romantic, elegant, beautiful, whimsical, natural. But when Madison described her wedding vision many months ago, I think she nailed it. Exquisite. From the abundance of beautiful florals to the romantic garden reception under the stars, their wedding was a dream from start to finish! 

Madison and Alfonso first met while attending Mercer University. She was a volleyball player and he was a lacrosse player. Their friends kept trying to set them up and even though they kept resisting it, fate eventually took over and they’ve been inseparable ever since! And now here they are starting the next phase of their life together! After spending the majority of their relationship long distance, they are so excited to finally live in the same place and start this new journey together!

When you get some of Hampton Roads finest vendors together for a wedding, you know it’s going to be a show stopper! Every detail was perfectly placed and designed by the best of the best in the 757! From the cake to the flowers to the lighting to the coordination and more! Getting to work alongside these super talented folks is such an honor. And just wait until you see the end result! Holy cow!  Madison’s grandmothers ring served as something old, borrowed AND blue!   Such a sweet moment with mom.   I am loving how my brides have been getting ready with their dogs nearby!! This makes my dog-loving heart so happy!   The Renaissance Court is my favorite spot at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens! So elegant and timeless! And this is where they had their stunning reception!   What a romantic setting for a ceremony!   We’ve got another crier over here! I love when grooms just can’t contain their joy over seeing their beautiful bride!  I mean… GORGEOUS!   I LOVE all the natural and rustic elements throughout. From the wood head table to the grapes in the centerpieces- so stunning!  I love a cake that has more flowers than icing!! Haha! So stunning!
