When I think of a dream southern wedding, Emily and Frank’s wedding day is pretty much what comes to mind! A sweet ceremony in a small historic church followed by a reception at a stunning Virginia Plantation- doesn’t get more classic a southern than that! Plus all the little southern details in between- magnolia leaves, pineapples, buried bourbon, peanuts, pecan pie, bourbon punch and more! What a dream!
I don’t think I’ve had a bride as excited for her wedding day as Emily. It’s easy to see how thrilled she was to be marrying her prince charming! From the almost daily social media countdown to the beaming smile on her face every time she looked at him, just being around them will make anyone believe in love! Capturing their beautiful wedding was such a joy and honor! Congrats to the happy couple as they set out on their long-awaited new adventure together!
Emily wore her grandmother’s earrings- so sweet!
What I wouldn’t give to have handwriting like hers! Just wait until you see all the signs she did herself for the reception!
Favorite!! Love everything about this shot- the joy, the couple, the stunning driveway, the light- ah!
Pineapples and magnolia leaves in all the windows, doesn’t get more southern than that!
After the ceremony, they dug up the bourbon that they had buried weeks ago! So fun!
This has to be my favorite seating chart I’ve ever seen! I just LOVE magnolia leaves!
