Catie and Erik first met while both attending Old Dominion University. He was a football player and she was a cheerleader, so how could they not live happily ever after?! As we were planning their engagement session, Catie mentioned wanting to the session back where it all began- at the ODU football stadium!! Talk about an epic location!!

Catie and Eric also love the beach, so we decided to start out at the beach at sunrise! It was a pretty chilly and windy November morning on the beach, but you just can’t beat that glowy morning light as the sun creeped over the horizon! Catie and Erik were such troopers and totally rocked it! Then we headed over to ODU to shoot inside the stadium! They were able to pull a few strings so we had the whole place to ourselves! I love that we were able to incorporate the fairytale story of how they first met and fell in love! 

I’ll never get over how blessed I am to have sweet couples like Catie and Erik come into my life through this business! I had such a great time hanging out with them during their session and can’t wait for their wedding at Shadow Creek next year!  Love her model stare!!  How cute are their matching jerseys?!  Catie, you so gorgeous!!  Talk about epic!!  Where it all began!
