One of the things that I love about being a wedding photographer is that it takes me to so many new places! One day I’m shooting a wedding in the mountains and the next I’m doing an engagement session at the beach! Virginia is full of so many different sceneries! 

Rachel and Matt live in Hampton, but frequent the Norfolk as Matt has a shop downtown. So it would make sense that we do their engagement session somewhere in Norfolk. But when Rachel starting talking to Matt about planning their engagement session, he surprised her when he said he’d love to do their session in the mountains. Rachel and Matt have spent a lot of time in the mountains together so it is special to their relationship. So we all made the drive all the way up into the mountains for their engagement session! We chose Ravens Roost as it has the most amazing mountain views! We enjoyed a gorgeous day on the side of mountain! Can’t wait for their mountain wedding this fall!
