Bay Tree Manor Virginia Waterfront Wedding

Rain or shine, Lexy and Max were getting married this weekend and they were going to do it with the biggest smile on their face! I’m always so impressed with how my couples are so unfazed by bad weather on their wedding day. Honestly, I don’t know that I would be able to if I were in their shoes. But couples like Lexy and Max have their sights on what’s really important about the day and don’t lose one ounce of joy due to rain! Not to mention they are total troopers and willing to do photos in the rain! I’d say it was definitely worth it!

Lexy and Max met while both attending CNU. They had a class together their senior year and after being friends for a while, Max finally confessed his love to her one night and the rest is history! Lexy and Max both have a lot of water in their history and lives together. They both spent much of their childhood and now relationship at the beach and max is an avid sailor. So it made sense that the would so I Do on the water and have a nautical-themed wedding. Bay Tree Manor was the perfect setting for their laid-back fun wedding! The rain came and went all day long, but it held off at all the right times and even allowed them to have their ceremony outside at the last minute! Lexy kept saying all day long that it was the best day ever. Their joy is infectious and I’m thinking it will continue throughout the rest of their lives together!   How cool are these willow trees? So glad that Lexy and Max were up for standing in the rain for these shots!
