You guys. This wedding. A photographer’s dream!! This was my first time shooting at Warner Hall in Gloucester, VA and I am just in LOVE!! This venue is amazing!! From the long driveway grand entrance to the endless fields of tall grass and golden light, I was just in heaven! I’m so glad that Ellen and Phil decided to do a first look so we had plenty of time to take advantage of all the gorgeous scenery!! It has been such a pleasure getting to know Ellen and Phil over the past year. They are just so sweet and fun! Ellen was one of the calmest brides I had ever seen on a wedding day. They were both just so ready to finally become husband and wife. These two have overcome some serious obstacles in their courtship as Phil stood by Ellen’s side during some serious health scares that no one should have to go through. But it only reassured each other and their families that they were meant to stand by each other’s side for the rest of their lives. It was such an honor to be a part of their big day and witness the beginning of what will be a long and happy life together! Congrats you guys!!

I just can’t get enough of Ellen’s smile!! And that cute little nose crinkle!! 










Just as we were about to wrap up their portraits, my second shooter and I spotted a field with some gorgeous glowy light and gave each other that look of “Are you thinking what I’m thinking?” I’m so glad Ellen and Phil trusted us enough to trek through some ditches to get to it! It was SOOO worth it!!

Gah!! That light though!!





















And the portraits weren’t over yet! We hopped on a golf cart and headed down to the boat dock for sunset pictures!!
