Classy and timeless couples like Flynn and Morgan are my favorite! Their wedding day this weekend was like stepping into a Pride and Prejudice novel! There were so many sweet touches to their wedding day- the flowers that were grown and arranged at the venue, Flynn’s hair piece that both her mother and grandmother donned on their wedding days and a gorgeous venue tucked away in the Blue Ridge Mountains!
Flynn and Morgan met while both attending UVA. Flynn was actually Morgan’s RA when they met- so scandalous! They bonded over an all-nighter gathering in their dorm as a hurricane passed through. They talked the whole night and were some of the last people left in the morning. Four years later, Morgan was asking Flynn to marry her and now here they are married!
Flynn described her vision for their wedding day as ‘Pride and Prejudice in the mountains’. They wanted it to be simple and beautiful, just like the blue ridge mountains that they venue, Pharsalia, is surrounded by. They had a gorgeous Spring day for their wedding and I’m so honored to have been able to capture it!
The gorgeous plantation home looked out onto a newly blooming apple orchard!
All the florals were grown at the venue! How cool is that??
