When you and your couple collectively drive 8+ hours one way so you can have epic mountain views for your engagement session, you cross all your fingers and toes for good weather! We had a gorgeous evening on Skyline Drive for Jordan and Matt’s engagement session! We did a lot of google map searching and research to find the perfect overlook spot for their session and I think we found it at Timber Hollow Overlook! I love that it was an overlook that you could actually walk down into as opposed to just viewing it from the road!
Jordan and Matt met while both attending UVA. They really developed an appreciation for the mountains and the Charlottesville area while attending, so they wanted their engagement session to incorporate the beauty of the mountains! They are even having their wedding in Charlottesville at King Family Vineyards next Fall! They also brought their sweet pup, Oliver, along for their session!
I had such a great time with Jordan and Matt during their session! They were so easy-going and up for anything! Walking into tall bug-swarming grass and stretching through muddy trails in their formal outfits! Matt joked that this was the only situation where Jordan would be willing to do things like that! I love when couples are willing to do anything for the shot! I’ll think you’ll agree that it was well worth it when you see the views we had!
