It’s always such a treat when couples want to do their engagement session at a place that has special meaning to them and their relationship. For Flynn and Morgan, it was University of Virginia. It’s where they met and where their relationship was forged. It’s where they not only have wonderful memories as a couple, but also timeless memories as individuals. Throw in a gorgeous afternoon at the peak of fall and we’ve got a perfect recipe for an engagement session! 

Flynn and Morgan met at UVA while Flynn was technically Morgan’s RA- how scandalous! They say their moment when it all began was when they stayed up all night talking the night of hurricane Sandy which was followed by a morning twilight walk. And the rest was history! After doing a few years long distance while they each completed their post-graduate studies, they are finally starting a life together in the same place! 

Even though I went to school just down the road at JMU and I had several friends that attended UVA, this was my first time exploring the campus! I can see why my friends really treasured their time at this school! It’s kind of magical! And I love all the history behind the grounds and the school!

When I asked Flynn to describe her vision for her wedding day, she said “Pride and Prejudice in the mountains”. I cannot wait to see her vision come to life next year!!
