UVA Charlottesville Virginia Fall Wedding

Somehow you always seem to be just a tad to early or your just miss it! That was not the case for Katie and Andrew’s wedding this past weekend! Charlottesville was really showing off with it’s fall foliage and always beautiful mountain views! Combine that with historic architecture at their reception venue, church and at the UVA campus across the street, and you’ve got yourself a stunning fall wedding!

Katie and Andrew’s wedding incorporated so many things that they love and are special to them. They were married at a gorgeous church that they both currently attend. This church also happens to be right across the street from a very special place to them- UVA! They met during their freshman year at UVA, spent the majority of their years there as friends, then started dating in their final year! They now live in Charlottesville where Andrew works at a local high school and Katie works for UVA! We did their engagement session on campus last fall and then were able to do their weddings photos there too! Just wait until you see how stunning the Rotunda was looking surrounded by all the gorgeous fall colors!

Their reception venue, Farmington Country Club, was also a special place as it is where Andrew’s parents also had their wedding reception! And these are just a few of the special and sentimental pieces that were a part of Andrew and Katie’s wedding day! We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful fall day for these two to have their dream fall wedding. This room at the country club is called The Jefferson Room and was designed by Thomas Jefferson!

Bridesmaids reveal!

While at UVA, Katie was a member of the UVA Singers, and was even president during her senior year. For their wedding, both current and past members of this prestigious group came to together to sing at the ceremony! Guys, they seriously sounded like angels!
