2016 is a wrap, y’all! And so is my 2016 wedding season!! I got to finish out my 2016 wedding season with a beautiful Charlottesville wedding for the sweetest couple! It really was the perfect way to wrap up a really amazing year!

I love the refreshing feeling that the beginning of a new year brings. All your goals and aspirations are at the forefront of your mind and you have a clean slate to accomplish them! And I especially feel this way because this is the officially the start of my off-season! This is the season where I get to take a step back and reflect on my business and give it a good refresh while also taking some time to relax before the season gets started up again! The first thing we’re tackling for 2017 is resetting our eating habits. So we are doing Whole30 for the month of January! This is our first time doing this program and even though the idea of no wine for a whole month is a little terrifying, I’m really hopeful that this will help us to start some better eating habits! If anyone has any tips, recipes, etc for doing this program, please let me know! 

And even though wedding season is over, engagements are still in full swing! Last week I met up with a super sweet and freshly engaged couple in Virginia Beach for their engagement session!
