In a world where there seem to be awful people and events happening left and right, knowing that there are people like Josh and Hannah and their families makes you believe in the good in the world again. They both have hearts of gold and families that nurtured them to be that way. They also have such excellent examples of marriage to look up to in their parents and a set of grandparents that won the anniversary dance by a landslide! Just wait until you hear how long they’ve been married!

I know I shouldn’t use the word perfect so much to describe weddings, but I can’t think of a better way to describe Hannah and Josh’s wedding day. From the weather, to the scenery, to behind ahead of schedule all day long (that never happens!). Their wedding day was simple and lovely, just the way they dreamed it would be.

Hannah and Josh actually met when they were toddlers at Sunday school, but they only remember it through their parents stories. It wasn’t until high school that they were reacquainted, but the rest wasn’t necessarily history. They became close friends during their senior year and even went to prom together, but never officially dated. After graduation, Josh was heading to Va Tech and Hannah to ODU, so they decided to not attempt a long distance relationship as they thought it would be too hard. Then during a trip to the beach with mutual friends after their sophomore year of college, something clicked and they knew they were meant to be together. Once they realized that each other was the one, they said that long distance actually wasn’t too bad. 

I love how Josh says that Hannah makes him want to be a better man. I believe that’s just how marriage should be. Your relationship should always be calling you to be an even better version of yourself. I think that Hannah and Josh will continue to grow into even more beautiful people than they already are through their marriage. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!
